About Our ClientThe Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing and executing payroll operations for the company's global workforce, ensuring compliance with varying regional regulations and internal policies. This role requires extensive experience with multi-state and international payroll, proficiency with payroll systems, and a strong understanding of tax and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, process improvement skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Job Description- Payroll Processing:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for U.S. and international employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Oversee payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, contractors, and variable pay structures.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations, including tax laws and labor standards.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, W-2s, 1099s, and other compliance documents.
- Address audits and ensure adherence to all payroll-related laws and standards.
- System Management:
- Maintain and optimize payroll systems and integrations with HRIS and accounting platforms.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Employee Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Educate employees on payroll policies, tax withholdings, and direct deposit setups.

The Successful Applicant- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of payroll management experience, with expertise in multi-state and international payroll.
- Experience in the real estate industry or similarly complex organizations is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar platforms) and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with international payroll tax regulations and compliance.
