Job Description A hospitality group is seeking to hire a Payroll/Onboarding Specialist. In this seat, you will be responsible for weekly payroll for about 100 employees using ADP Workforce Now, onboarding and offboarding tasks, benefits, and some employee relations. The ideal candidate has used ADP Workforce Now, has onboarding experience, and is a fast-paced worker.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for overall administration and compliance for all benefit programs including, medical/dental/vision plans, LTD, STD, 401(k), wellness, etc.
- Lead the administration of 401(k) plan by monitoring and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, conducting discrimination testing, supporting the annual audit, completing compliance filings, and supporting employee questions and communications.
- Primary contact for Benefit consultants and plan providers to ensure efficient administration of benefit plans.
- Maintain and administer the Benefits plans and processes within the HRIS.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations related to benefit programs including, but not limited to, ERISA, FMLA, and HIPAA. This includes required testing and audits and SOX compliance.
- Support the HR team with over initiatives including, but not limited to, new hire orientation, onboarding, employee communications, employee requests and questions, and training.
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of benefit changes and enrollments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or 10 years' relative experience.
- 6+ years of progressive HR Benefits experience
- Highly proficient in HRIS management, highly preferred ADP Workforce Now experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, with ability to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all levels across the organization
- Ability to partner closely and work effectively with internal support teams such as payroll, finance, recruiting, and security.
