As a
Payroll Operations Partner, you will help ensure a smooth payroll operations for over 15,000 employees across the USCA region, spanning multiple states. In this hybrid position, you'll use your payroll expertise and collaborative mindset. Reporting directly to the Payroll & TAA Leader, focusing on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all payroll processes. Your responsibilities will encompass processing, controlling, balancing, and maintaining compliance with payroll data verification and administration. Partnering with People Operations/HR and Compensation teams, you will help deliver accurate payroll and address payroll-related issues.
Key Responsibilities - Calculate gross and net pay amounts, including salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, and payroll liabilities.
- Maintain payroll-specific records, ensuring timely updates for changes in wage/salary rates, pensions, insurance, mandatory deductions, new hires, terminations, and leaves of absence.
- Audit and ensure compliance with all payroll legislation and company policies.
- Reconcile payroll records, ensuring accuracy across all earnings and deductions.
- Process off-cycle pay activities, including annual bonuses for the US population.
- Support system configuration and testing, using Workday architecture and processes.
- Load mass updates using the Workday EIB process through Excel worksheets.
Qualifications - BS/BA Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- 5 years of payroll processing experience, with a preference for Workday expertise.
- In-depth understanding of Workday architecture and operating parameters.
- Proficiency in using Excel for data manipulation and loading mass updates.
- Experience in system configuration and testing.
