Generates all required reports andsupports all Payroll obligations. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Produces payroll for biweekly employees andassists with processing monthly payroll as needed. Produces and manages the distribution of payrollchecks, notification of bank rejection to employees, and replacement ofthe rejected checks. Assist campus with time verification and trackingof payroll processing. Assists in verifying data with the guidance of thePayroll Processing Specialist. Provides customer support to employees withpayroll-related concerns, including in person, by phone, and listservcommunication in a timely manner. Responsible for general deduction data entry, off-cyclecheck log, and summary of each payroll process account. Assists with other projects and assignments asdesignated by the Payroll Manager and performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High Schooldiploma and 2 years of experience in payroll or related administrativeexperience. Must be certified or demonstrate proficiency in Excel. - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in multiple form.
- Ability to effectively communicate information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
