SNG has an immediate opening for a qualified Payroll Specialistin the Williamsville, NY office reporting to the Payroll Manager

Current Employee Count: 850

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review timesheets for accuracy and following up as needed with internal teams and leaders
  • Process biweekly payrolls in an accurate and timely manner
  • Complete onboarding of new hires into payroll systems
  • Works closely with other payroll team members

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and payroll processing
  • Knowledge of FLSA and other federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Multistate payroll experience
  • ERP system experience
  • Must be able to work with confidential material/information
  • Must be analytical and have above average organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and work independently or as a team member as needed
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong customer service abilities

Desired Skills:

  • ADP WFN experience
  • MS SharePoint experience
  • Multistate payroll experience
  • Experience posting Labor in different ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint knowledge a plus)
  • Government contracting environment experience a plus
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail and accuracy of work product
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information, and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
  • Able to work independently

In compliance with various state requirements, the salary rate for this role is $58,500 annually with an annual performance-based bonus. However, Seneca Holdings considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to: the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

In compliance with NY state's pay transparency laws, our salary range is listed below.

Pay Range $58,500—$58,500 USD
