We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to be responsible for all payroll-related tasks. In this role, your responsibilities will include collecting and reviewing employee working hours, calculating wages, preparing, and processing weekly payroll, and maintaining accurate payroll records. ADP payroll experience is preferred. To be successful as a payroll specialist, you should be able to investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards. WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:
- Display payroll operational best practices with regards to bi-weekly and weekly payroll functions managing full cycle payroll for at a minimum of 100 employees.
- Process payroll and maintain payroll information as required.
- Data entry adjustments for all time and attendance as well as imports of time for field labor. (ADP Workforce )
- Process Tool Reimbursement and other fringe benefits.
- Selected processing of final payouts and calculations.
- Run audit reports from ADP Workforce and assist in audit and payroll balancing procedures. Ensuring prompt identification and resolution to potentially complex payroll issues.
- Assist employees with questions regarding pay issues along with the HR Generalist.
- Assist with other payroll related special projects.
- Support Accounting Manager including preparation of documents and follow-up on timelines and deliverables.
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
- High school education or GED required; Associates and/or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience processing Payroll
- Service Industry experience a plus
- ADP experience
- Coachable - accounting skills/knowledge
- Successful completion of criminal background check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Helios' compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay for this position ranges from $20/hour to $25/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
