We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Payroll Specialist to lead and manage all payroll for utility companies facing emergencies and power outages. They will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing; while supporting and assisting the rest of the corporate team. Responsibilities:
- Perform daily sales postings and reconcile sales transactions
- Verify and upload accounts payable invoices into our accounting system
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Process payroll efficiently and accurately, including handling garnishments
- Maintain high standards of data entry accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with team members to accomplish departmental goals
- Handle sensitive financial and payroll information with confidentiality
- Assisting with any additional duties needed

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience in accurate and dependable data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and payroll information
