Our client in Malvern, PA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have multi-state payroll experience as well as experience with PeopleSoft which will align successfully in the organization.This is long term temp role; 1-1.5 years, don't wait apply today! Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid) Pay Range: $28.00-38.00/hour Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm What's the Job?
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Manage and maintain employee payroll records
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll
- Assist with special projects as needed
What's Needed?
- PeopleSoft experience required.
- Bachelor's degree WITH 2-4 years progressive experience in payroll and customer service OR minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in payroll and customer service.
- Multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Basic Excel skills such as V-lookups and Pivot Tables
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
