Job Description:

Our client based in Durham is seeking a Payroll to come aboard their team as a full time employee working a hybrid schedule in Durham, NC. The Payroll Specialist will assist with:

  • Payroll Management
  • HRIS Management
  • Financial Reporting
  • HR Budget Management
  • Benefits Administration
  • Invoicing & Vendor Management
  • HR Support

Qualifications:

U.S. based Bachelors degree

3+ years experience in as a payroll specialist, payroll administrator, or payroll manager in a corporate setting

Done payroll for company with over 200 employees

Strong in Excel

Experience entering data into an HRIS systems(i.e entering salary changes, promotions, manager changes)

Experience paying invoices on time , must have paid a vendor before

Experience and willingness to give general HR support when needed

PLUS

Worked in payroll for an insurance company or financial services

Paylocity, benefits administration, and budget management would be a plus
