Responsibilities Include:
- First point of contact for all payroll inquiries.
- Run reports and import payroll hours from internal systems into the payroll software for weekly processing.
- Responsible for all payroll checks, including manual and replacements, and ensuring timely distribution.
- Monitor and review all payroll information entered, ensuring all information is up to date, including direct deposits, tax withholdings, and address changes.
- Responsible for processing terminations, entering disability claims payment information, and reconciling disability claims.
- Entering all special deductions such as medical deductions, wage garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders.
- Complete payroll-related journal entries as well as post them timely.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field is required.
- At least 2 years of experience with payroll or in a similar accounting field.
- Knowledge of payroll systems, regulations, and practices is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is required.
- Strong time management, organizational, and communicative abilities are required.
