Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr - $35/hr
Position Overview:
The Payroll Specialist will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure the accuracy of timesheets across all divisions, maintain payroll systems, and process payroll.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
* Creating reports that contain non-taxable salaries, leave, compassionate leave, tax deductions, and earnings summaries.
* Addressing any employee payroll inquiries and resolving payroll disparities.
* Upholding all payroll processes in compliance with corporate guidelines and protocols.
* Keeping track of and checking employee timesheets before payroll.
Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:
* 2+ years of relevant experience.
* Knowledge of payroll, garnishments, and benefits distribution.
* The Payroll Specialist must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are preferred.
* Experience with Workday or ADP.
Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
