Key Responsibilities:
- Distribute paychecks accurately and on time
- Maintain precise records of employee payments
- Track employee wages, overtime, sick days, and vacation days
- Collaborate with HR and Accounts to ensure accurate payroll information
- Utilize payroll software for data entry and record management
- Verify employee records and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and deductions
- Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions
- Process new hires, promotions, and terminations
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma (Associates degree preferred)
- Experience: 2+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse personalities
