CornerStone Staffing has teamed up with a MAJOR name in transportation to seek out Payroll Specialists for an exciting 11 month contract! If you have 2+ years of payroll experience at high volume and prior experience with Mexico-based payroll, we encourage you to apply today! Please note: to fully coordinate with their Mexico based division, you must be able to communicate fluently in Spanish, both written and verbal. Job Title: Bilingual Payroll Specialist Pay Range: $26/hr.+ BOE Location: 100%ONSITE in Plano, TX Schedule: Flexible start time! Get to work between 7:30am to 8:30am. Work an 8 hour shift. Ex: 7:30am to 4:30pm, 8:00am to 5:00pm, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Duration: Contract [11 Months - Potential to go permanent depending on business needs] Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage payroll for employees at high volume [1000+]
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  • Collaborate from Plano, TX with an international office that communicates primarily in Spanish
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and changes in tax laws to ensure compliance
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of high volume payroll experience, including Mexico payroll experience
  • Must be Spanish bilingual
  • ADP experience required (EV5 preferred) OR Ceridian Dayforce
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll management processes, including debits/credits, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation
  • Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to analyze financial data and perform general ledger reconciliations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and resolve payroll-related inquiries
