Position Description: Process payroll for multiple worksites and provide clients with a superior level of customer service in a high-volume environment. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain proficient knowledge of the company, systems, processes and assigned clients
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to our clients and worksite employees as the main point person for your assigned clients payroll related inquiries
  • Daily processing of multiple scheduled and off cycle payrolls ensuring compliance, accuracy and recordkeeping. Follow up with clients and escalate as needed to ensure completion based on deadlines
  • Confirm Payroll Invoice charges are accurate
  • Daily completion of cases, tasks, etc. in our CRM system
  • Knowledge of traditional and ad-hoc reporting capabilities
  • Liase with Support and Distribution personnel to ensure Payrolls are shipped timely and accurately
  • Strong multi state payroll regulatory and compliance knowledge including, but not limited to, tax laws, FLSA and fringe benefits
  • Review and interpret the wording on wage garnishments. Setup deductions accurately and confirm when processing
  • Update employee and client data as needed
  • Proactively research and build knowledge on unfamiliar situations, work with managers to confirm accurate handling
  • Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Retirement, Operations and other team members
  • Ability to proactively problem solve and adapt to changing priorities
  • Setup of union and prevailing wage rules and update as needed
Experience:
  • At least 3 years prior work experience with: Payroll Service Company OR
  • Have processed payroll in a large company environment with 500 employees or more.
  • FPC is recommended. CPP to be obtained in the next available training and testing window
Specific Skills Needed:
  • Strong computer skills however will train on our Payroll System
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in support of Customer Service
  • Applicant must have strong understanding of Payroll Regulations
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced environment
Salary up to $75,000 based on experience
