Job Description:
  • Process weekly payrolls for 2 component companies: 1st company payroll is for 9 Broadway Theatres (approximately 900-1,100 employees) and 2nd company payroll employs bartenders at concession stands in our theatres (approximately 80-100 employees)
  • Become familiar with the respective union rules (CBA's) for the 7-8 unions employed in our theatres
  • Review and process weekly UKG Pro Onboarding of new hires.
  • Review and process Historical Timekeeping adjustments, UKG Pro manual adjustments, and manual/void checks
  • Verify and set up employee direct deposits (existing employees)
  • Review and reconcile weekly employee levies and garnishments
  • Review payment discrepancy notices from unions/resolve issues
  • Research Union Dues and Vacation issues within UKG payroll system & reporting
  • Assist with supplying employee info for unemployment claims
  • Assist with Union Audits of respective Health and/or Pension contributions
  • Assist with preparing schedules for annual Worker's Comp Audit
  • Prepare Disability and Paid Family Leave reporting for quarterly premium payments
  • Assist with completing the UKG Year End Reporting checklist, which includes the issuance & distribution of W2'S to employees
  • Review weekly theatre settlements & other payroll reporting to ensure that welfare, pension, and dues payments (ACH & checks) are issued accurately and timely to the respective unions
  • Assist with supplying information for the monthly payroll bank
  • Update union rates for new CBA's that are in effect & assist with running offcycle payroll runs for retroactive pay owed to the unions
  • Assist with generating and customizing the UKG Payroll Reporting (BI Reporting) generated for internal weekly settlements and external use.
  • Ensure all payroll adjustments and taxes withheld are recorded timely to ensure quarterly payroll returns can be completed
  • Overseeing the issuance of 1095's within UKG
  • Assist with cross-training staff to ensure certain critical payroll responsibilities are carried out weekly
  • Work with outside consultants to develop reference material for using UKG timekeeping system and payroll system to be used internally (Labor, Accounting, Theatre Managers)
