OTTO Engineering - Payroll Specialist - Carpentersville, IllinoisOTTO - designed, manufactured and precision tested, right here in the USA.OTTO's opportunity:Our Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing professional level timely and accurate execution of the full payroll lifecycle. Responsibilities include managing the compilation of payroll information, paying employees, data reporting, and ensuring compliance with OTTO policy and regulatory requirements. This position is also responsible for ensuring the compensation structure and standards of the company. The candidate will work in partnership with ADP (managed service provider) to ensure success of the payroll process. The Payroll Specialist also works closely with the accounting team to ensure all accounting and reporting deliverables are met. The Payroll Specialist is continually responsible for providing a high-quality level of customer service to both management and the Company's employees.Specifically, the Payroll Specialist will:Process weekly (hourly) and biweekly (salaried) payrollPrepare weekly, monthly & annual payroll reports as well as ad hoc reports for management & auditsReview timecards for accuracyEducate new managers, group leaders and office hourly on Time and AttendancePrepare & process quarterly rate increasesAct as liaison with ADPElectronically transmit positive pay data to the bankManage positive pay exceptionsTrack and maintain payroll deductions in arrearsTrack & manage age reduction GTLProcess Group Healthcare costs (W-2s)Manage SUI ratesSet up state and local jurisdictions as requiredBalance quarterly payroll taxesCalculate and process profit sharing & process bonus payrollsTrack & report employee loansAdminister employee garnishmentsManage LOA vacation prorationProcess payments for Cottage workElectronically transmits 401(k) contributions/company match to plan administerProvide reports for 401k auditProcess improvements as necessaryEEO-1 report preparation & submissionCensus reporting for 401(k) & benefit renewalsManage salary & hourly vacation carryoverManage payroll & holiday schedules in ADPMaintain pay grades in ADPImport points on paychecksPrepare monthly anniversary list for the OTTO NewsletterManage outstanding payroll checksPrepare annual rent increase authorizations, process rent increasesProvide annual budget information to accountingAssist with other related duties as required or assignedWhat you'll need to bring to the table:Bachelor's degree or 10 years related experienceMinimum 5 years of full payroll life cycle experience including 2 years minimum with ADP Workforce NowExperience processing payroll for 500+ employeesStrong problem solving, communication & interpersonal skillsSolid working knowledge of benefits, policies, and proceduresHigh level of integrity & ability to maintain confidential informationAbility to multitaskDetail oriented with ability to perform with a high degree of accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline driven and fast paced environmentBenefits:Medical InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) with a company matchTuition AssistanceLife Insurance BenefitsCompetitive PayProfit Sharing BonusPaid Vacation and HolidaysCompany PicnicHoliday PartyAND numerous OTTO celebrations throughout the year!To review all of OTTO's available opportunities, please visit our career page by clicking on the link below:OTTO Career PageOTTO Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Disability/Veteran#J-18808-Ljbffr
