Job Summary:

This Payroll Operations Specialist will be the primary point of contact for onboarding and ongoing candidate engagement, ensuring a seamless experience for our contingent workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing payroll processing for W2 and 1099 employees, including time tracking, tax calculations, and deductions.
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll across various states and regions.
• Acting as the point of contact for all onboarding processes, ensuring payroll information is set up accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining ongoing communication with candidates throughout their engagement, addressing payroll inquiries and providing support as needed.
• Collaborating with HR and finance teams to resolve any payroll discrepancies.
• Ensuring compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Conducting payroll audits to identify and rectify errors.

Ideal qualifications:

• Experience in payroll operations, with a focus on contingent workforce management or MSP environments.
• Familiarity with payroll software systems and multi-state tax regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of payroll data accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both internal teams and candidates.
• Ability to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
