1 year contract with potential to covert to FTE

On Site 3 days per week in Des Peres Missouri 63131 (Monday & Friday work from home)

Consulting pay $26 hour W2 -OR- $45,000 Annually +23 Days PTO (Holiday/Vac/Sick), Health, Dental, 401K etc.

Must be proficient in Excel VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables (test will be given)

1-2 years experience

The Payroll Specialist will join a team of 4 Analysts responsible for processes payroll for 55,000 employees in the USA and Canada (1.5 million paychecks per year & 8 billion budget).

We are in the process of transitioning from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud. This is a significant change and will affect the entire platform our team operates on, with the go-live date scheduled for early 2026. We require additional support over the next year to ensure a smooth rollout and ability to maintain business continuity while we manage testing as well as supporting the implementation of the new software.

Keys to Success:

• Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and flexible. The ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential, as this role involves managing many tasks, often interrupted by urgent priorities that require quick shifts in focus.
• Accuracy: Because the person in this role will be handling sensitive areas like compensation and payroll, attention to detail is critical; errors, even as small as a misplaced decimal can have significant consequences.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables is a MUST HAVE
• Requires 1-2 years payroll experience, or related experience in finance, bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable etc.
• BS preferred
• Must be willing to work onsite in Des Peres, MO near 270 & Manchester
