**Position Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements across various states and countries. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with local and country tax laws, and providing exceptional service to our employees. As the leader of the Regional payroll team, you will be responsible for the processing payroll in the United States and Canada using ADP GlobalView and Celergo payroll software, Workday HRIS software, UKG Kronos time and attendance software, and other 3rd party inbound and outbound vendors.

**Requirements**

+ Accurately process payroll for employees across multiple countries.

+ Ensure timely and accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.

+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and country specific tax laws and regulations.

+ Ensure compliance with country, federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.

+ Prepare and file payroll tax returns for local, state, and federal agencies.

+ Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

+ Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.

+ Address and resolve more complex payroll-related inquiries from HR Shared Services.

+ Provide guidance on payroll and tax matters.

+ Utilize payroll software to manage payroll processes.

+ Assist in system upgrades and implementations as needed.

**Flexible Work Schedule Hybrid Work Option and Core Hours**

This role has the flexibility of a hybrid work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience in accounting, finance and / or Human Resources.

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state tax compliance.

+ Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

+ Proficiency in Workday, ADP GlobalView and Celergo, and UKG Kronos.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills
