Our back office has immediate needs, and we are looking for a dedicated Payroll Tax Analyst to join our team. Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Tax Analyst with a strong background in multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction payroll tax matters to work with one of their clients. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to hit the ground running with minimal guidance.Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate through payroll and payroll-related tax matters, including responding to payroll tax notices and ensuring compliance.
- Facilitate audits and delinquency notices by providing accurate records and documentation.
- Perform strong reconciliation of payroll information to the General Ledger (GL) and other supporting schedules.
- Communicate effectively with regulatory agencies to resolve issues.
- Adapt to organizational changes and contribute to a dynamic work environment.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full payroll tax experience.
- Experience with multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction payroll.
- Strong reconciliation experience (payroll info to GL and other supporting schedules).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Proficiency in payroll systems (preferably Workday) and strong Excel skills (pivots and vlookups).
- Bachelor's degree.

- Sage Intacct for GL.
- Workday and ADP for Payroll.
Work Schedule:
- 3 days in office (Tuesday - Thursday).
- 2 days remote (Monday & Friday).
