As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide essential personal care services to clients both on our campus and within the greater community. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing our clients' quality of life and supporting their independence.Responsibilities:* Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene routines tailored to individual client needs.* Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility, including using transfer devices and supporting prescribed exercises to promote strength and flexibility. ️* Healthcare Support: Help with medication reminders, monitoring vital signs, and reporting any changes in client status to ensure their well-being.* Household Assistance: Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands to maintain a comfortable and organized living environment. ️* Transportation: Safely drive clients to medical appointments and activities, ensuring they reach their destinations comfortably and on time.Qualifications:* Compassionate Care: A genuine passion for providing exceptional care and support to elderly and disabled individuals. ️* Experience: Ideally, at least 1 year of supervised experience in a caregiving role, demonstrating competence in personal care and household assistance.* Certification: Completion of a recognized Personal Care Aide training program or equivalent certification recognized by the state.* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. ️* Driver's License: Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record and adequate insurance coverage.Physical Requirements:* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with patient transfers safely.* Stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and climb stairs as needed. ️Benefits:* Opportunities for professional development and career growth.* Supportive work environment fostering teamwork and personal fulfillment.Join Us:If you are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others and meet our qualifications, we invite you to apply for this rewarding position.
