We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our PCU team. This role involves caring for medical and PCU-level patients, with a focus on oncology and stroke care.

Position Highlights:

• Specialty: PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 (Medical), 1:3-4 (PCU)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Unit Information:

• Medical PCU Oncology and Stroke Unit
• Mixed Acuity Unit with medical and PCU-level care

Requirements:

• Active IN license required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required, NIH preferred
• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience
• Special Skills: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, accessing ports, starting IVs

Preferred Experience:

• Neuro and oncology care
• Central line care/management
• Monitoring chemotherapy
