Job Summary:The per diem Infusion RN provides direct care to clients in their home.Qualifications:Required:* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Preferred:* Previous home infusion experience is desired.* PICC Certification and Chemotherapy certification preferred.* CRNI certification is preferred.* ONS certification is preferred.Certifications and Licenses Required:* Current licensure by the New Jersey Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse.* Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association is required.* Completion of an IV certification course is required.Scheduling Requirements:* Full-time, DayEssential Functions:* Participates in program development, quality assurance and the delivery of care* Remains familiar with all pumps, access devices, drugs and central lines* Develops and maintains relationships with referral services and client base* Determines appropriateness of patients for home therapy* Performs patient care when needed and on-callOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
