St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join the team.

    • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (depending on patient volume)
    • Call is rotating holidays with 3 other Dentists
    • Outpatient, inpatient and surgeries
    • Medically complex patients

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Diagnose, prevent and treat problems with teeth or mouth tissue. This role must have a Pediatric Dentistry certificate from an accredited program in the U.S. or Canada and be eligible to be certified for a specialty license for pediatric dentistry.

Responsibilities

  • Observes, evaluates, and applies knowledge of dental skills to provide optimal patient care. Diagnoses amd renders appropriate dental care to patients. Fulfills dental consulting requests.
  • Records all procedures and pertinent information in patients record.
  • Trains, supervises and evaluates the work of clinic staff.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with superiors, associates, representatives of public agencies and organizations, and private health care providers.
  • Educates individuals and their families regarding dental health hygiene.
