The Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York and the Division of Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation/Cellular Therapy in the Department of Pediatrics at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell seeks board certified/eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology for a full-time Pediatric Hem/Onc Hospital Based Hematologist Oncologist at Cohen Children's Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY.
Cohen Children's Medical Center is a 202 bed tertiary children's hospital. Clinical care is provided in an 18 bed oncology unit with 8 beds specifically designed and designated for stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy, a 13 bed Ambulatory Chemotherapy Transfusion Unit and a dedicated outpatient diagnostic center.
Cohen Children's Medical Center is the top-rated children's hospital in New York State and has earned top national rankings for exceptional care in nine pediatric specialties, according to US News & World Report's 2021-2022 Best Children's Hospitals.
The Division of Hematology Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation/Cellular Therapy is a large quaternary care program with a strong balance of both hematology and oncology, with an outstanding fellowship program and a large clinical and research faculty engaged in cutting edge clinical and laboratory research.
