As a Pediatric Certified Nursing Aide or Home Health Aide, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

  • Provide home-based care to pediatric patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases—often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility
  • Work with a team of physicians, RN's, LPNs, CNAs and aides providing patient care
  • Follow the Plan of Care for each Patient
  • Help with things such as dressing, feeding, companionship and some occasional light housekeeping
