Position Description: The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Global Health of the Department of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine is seeking to recruit outstanding full-time physician at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our full-time faculty in New Haven, CT. Interested candidates, MD or MD/PhD, will have several responsibilities which range between clinical, academic and research including as Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.Yale New Haven Children's Hospital is nationally ranked by U.S. News and World Report. The Department of Pediatrics delivers comprehensive care to children in the Connecticut Shoreline from New York to New London. Our section provides state of the art clinical care with our physicians supported by a dedicated nursing staff, nurse practitioner and social worker. The Pediatric Infectious Disease division includes 9 full time faculty members who are actively engaged in clinical and laboratory-based research, clinical care, and education. Our faculty has also a strong collaboration with the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory.New Haven is an exciting city, well known for its proximity to New York and Boston, both just a train ride away. This position will remain open until filled.Qualifications: The successful applicant will be appointed at a Yale Medical School rank commensurate with their level of qualifications and experience on the Clinical Track /Clinician Scholar Educator Track.
