Job Description:
We're hiring! Join our team of dedicated pediatricians and nurse practitioners providing quality healthcare in MaineJoin our dynamic healthcare team in Houlton or Brownville and Dover-Foxcroft, Maine! We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners to fill full-time positions at our clinics.At our facilities, we prioritize providing top-quality healthcare services to the people of Central/Northern Maine. As we continue to expand, we require a skilled candidate to serve patients at our Dover-Foxcroft, Houlton, and Brownville locations. Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary medical care and emergency treatment to patients.
  • Engage in appropriate supervision, coordination, and implementation of healthcare programs and procedures.

  • 80% coverage of health insurance premiums and 50% dependent coverage.
  • Dental insurance benefits are available for employees and their dependents at our dental center.
  • Accrual of 3 weeks of paid vacation in the first year and 4 weeks each subsequent year.
  • Accrual of up to 24 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) and up to 40 hours of earned paid leave in the first year, and up to 88 combined hours of PTO and earned paid leave annually thereafter.
  • $2500 allocated towards Continuing Medical Education (CME) and up to one week off for CME activities.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage is provided at no cost to the employee.
  • Life insurance benefits at two times the annual salary, up to $300K, are provided at no cost to the employee.
  • 10 paid holidays annually.
  • 401k plan available after one year of service, with an employer match of up to 4% of your contribution.
Qualifications:
  • Must be licensed in the State of Maine or have the ability to obtain licensure.
  • Board certification is required.
  • Active DEA license.
  • Residency-trained pediatricians.
  • Experience and active support for rural, community-oriented primary care are preferred.
  • New / Fresh Graduates with similar skills and profiles are welcome.
  • Ability to provide supervising physician responsibilities to PAs and FNPs.
  • Experience working with or willingness to work with underserved populations.
