Job Overview Pediatric RN (IDD Care):Join our client in Philadelphia, PA, as a Pediatric RN specializing in IDD care, where you ll provide essential medical care and family education for children in Intermediate Care Facilities. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you ll support children s health and developmental needs in community homes, ensuring quality care and promoting family involvement.Compensation: $50/hourLocation: Philadelphia, PASchedule: Flexible weekdays, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PMResponsibilities as the Pediatric RN (IDD Care):
- Care Delivery: Provide nursing care according to physician orders, assess and respond to each child's needs, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Individualized Planning: Contribute to and follow each child s Individualized Program Plan, adjusting care recommendations based on health assessments.
- Collaboration: Communicate changes in children s health to the Care Team and engage in collaborative care planning.
- Education: Instruct families on specialized care practices, supporting their involvement in the child s care routine.
- Compliance: Ensure all clinical documentation and incident reporting meet established standards, maintaining confidentiality and respect for families and colleagues.
Qualifications for the Pediatric RN (IDD Care):
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- Experience: 2 years in Pediatric care required, with tracheostomy and ventilator management experience (home care experience preferred).
- Certifications: Current CPR certification for infants and children required.
- Attributes: Respectful and supportive of home environments, with a compassionate approach to pediatric care.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver s license preferred.
