Job Overview:
We are offering employment opportunities to Pediatricians who are interested in providing high-quality clinical care to our patients in the diverse communities that we serve. As a rapidly growing network, we provide a supportive environment for our physicians to practice medicine under the guidance of dedicated medical leadership.
Essential Functions:
- Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions
- Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
- Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- Monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
- Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
- Immunizing patients against preventable diseases
- Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results
- Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary
- Providing compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns
- Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
- Participating in network activities such as Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and training sessions
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required.
- MD or DO from accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics required.
- Current and unrestricted New York State license and DEA number.
