Description of the role:The Pediatrician will diagnose, treat, and provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents at the Greenville Children's Clinic and the Cleveland Children's Clinic. They will work closely with patients and their families to provide comprehensive medical services and promote overall health and well-being.Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe appropriate treatments for pediatric patients
- Provide routine check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings to ensure proper growth and development
- Monitor and record patients' medical histories, symptoms, and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and specialists, for specialized care and treatments
- Educate patients and parents on illness prevention, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Respond to emergencies and provide urgent medical care when necessary
Requirements:
- Medical degree and completion of a residency program in Pediatrics
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Pediatrician
- Excellent knowledge of child development, common pediatric conditions, and treatments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to make accurate diagnoses
