Job Title:Pediatric Physical Therapist - 10,000 Sign-on Bonus
Job Type: Full-time (Mon-Fri; 40 hours per week. Open to further discussing work days and schedule during interview.)
Job Location: Will split days between our following two Brooklyn, NY outpatient clinics:
- 672 Parkside Avenue, Brooklyn, NY (Lefferts Gardens)
- 158 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY (Williamsburg)
Salary Range: $82,000 - $108,000 (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities:
Pediatric Physical Therapist responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses.
- Devising creative treatment plans for infants, children, and adolescents suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases.
- Improve children's motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, gait difficulties, heart and lung endurance, and delayed motor movements.
- Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending an average of 40 minutes with each person.
- Helping children and family members restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
- Encouraging patients along the road to recovery.
- Medical Specialties at the clinic include ortho, and pediatrics.
- Adolescents and children outpatient caseload; 50% infant/toddler
Qualifications:
- NYS Physical Therapist License
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- CPR and first aid certification required
- Open to new grads; MUST have fieldwork experience in pediatrics
- Peds experience
