Essential Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for an assigned group of patients, ensuring high-quality care is delivered.
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; update physician orders as required.
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Obtain and monitor physiological data from patients, noting changes and intervening when necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications, manage intravenous infusions, and monitor the administration of blood products.
• Provide competent and compassionate patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families about the care plan, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Refer patient care needs to the appropriate personnel, collaborating to ensure optimal care.
• Delegate tasks to support staff while ensuring quality care is maintained.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team or management.
