POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESThis position is only open to Einstein Medical School Students. Tutors will work on an as needed basis:Tutors will work with 1-3 students to clarify information, review specific course material and encourage effective study skills applicable to all basic science courses.Tutors are encouraged to stimulate critical thinking, foster an understanding of the big picture and help students become active participants in the learning process.Students who receive tutoring are generally either having acedemic concerns or at risk for failure evidenced by repeated exam or course difficulty.Tutors receive advisement and training to enhance and prepare for their sessions prior to meeting with students.Although time and duration may vary, tutoring sessions are generally 1 1/2 or 2 hours.Tutors are expected to submit appropriate, accurate paperwork on time.Tutoring and progress of students receiving services is closely monitord by office.Minimum Salary RangeMaximum Salary RangeABOUT USAlbert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) is one of the nation's premier institutions for medical education, basic research and clinical investigation, and proud home to more than 3,000 faculty and staff, 750 medical students and 245 PhD students, including 116 students in the combined MD/PhD programs.
