Morning Star II is an OASAS-licensed, supportive residential program for adult women in recovery from substance use, that accommodates both the women and their pre-school age children. We are seeking a recovery advocate to provide peer support to the women both when they reside at Morning Star and after they leave to reside in the community.
- Provide orientation to program, service providers
- Assist with data collection during and after their stay at residence.
- Maintain contact with residents post-discharge, including assistance as needed with connecting with community resource
Qualifications - External
- Women in recovery with experience similar to Morning Star residents
- High school diploma or GED
- Recovery Peer Advocate - Provisional certification acceptable, Full certification preferred.
