The role of Peer Support is to work with individuals dealing with behavioral health concerns by supporting and connecting them to the necessary services that will help stabilize their day-to-day life. This role would involve meeting with individuals in the home, office, and community, wherever they are at and able.

Peer Support (QMHS) Requirements

• CDCA & Certified Peer Support preferred.
• Knowledge of the disease of chemical dependency and the 12 Step Programs.
• Excellent facility in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Access, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain high level of confidentiality; must sign confidentiality agreement.
• Good professional communication skills (verbal and written).
• Maturity and ability to role model healthy interpersonal communication with clients and staff.
• Organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and strong ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work without supervision and demonstrate considerable initiative.
• Knowledge of CPR.

Compensation details: 18-18 Hourly Wage
