Overview:

Penske Motor Group is looking for a self-motivated, creative, and energetic candidate to join our team as a Human Resources Admin. This is an entry-level, full time, hourly, non-exempt position that is perfect for someone who wants to enter the field of Human Resources. We are looking for a best practices team member who will uphold the values of the Penske Way for the business and our team members.

Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $18.00 - $20.00.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Implement efficient filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
  • Manage various HR-related documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Implement and improve filing systems to streamline office operations.
  • Maintain communication boards to ensure accuracy with compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Generate HR-related reports and analytics as needed. Utilize HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to extract relevant data for analysis and decision-making. Maintain organized data files for reporting purposes.
  • Support HR initiatives related to employee training and development. Coordinate training sessions and maintain organized records of training attendance and completion.
  • Maintaining personnel records and file room including gathering, organizing, and filing paperwork and employee records.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Organize and file benefit-related documentation.
  • Send out weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly announcements to the team.
  • Conduct various administrative audits, create, and update spreadsheets and other documents needed.
  • Update job descriptions and other various projects for the department.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to travel to other Company locations to facilitate trainings and participate in HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications: Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be organized, action oriented, see big vision and collaborative with all levels of the organization.
  • Must maintain the utmost professionalism and discretion in this role
  • Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language, work well with the public.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
