Job Summary
KBR is seeking a Pentagon Operations Support Specialist to assist with interagency coordination. The ideal candidate will have Army Operations or Logistics experience and understand how the Army and DoD staff function. This position will provide management for reviewing requirements and coordinating actions across the organization and up to the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The position will perform operational tasks from receipt of requirements through final delivery of the products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Conduct interagency coordination to verify, clear, and publish orders for military equipment transfers and deliveries to foreign partners. Provide coordination, support, and/or training for colleagues on the process for drafting, clearing, and publishing HQDA EXORDs and FRAGOs for military equipment transfers in response to Presidential Drawdowns.
* Process Congressional Notification packages.
* Coordinate with Army stakeholders to collect and verify acquisition and delivery data to be integrated into daily/weekly reporting formats for leadership to ensure the most accurate and up to date information is provided.
* Identify gaps in data in order to provide updates to the integrated and detailed weekly updates to Army Senior Leaders and Security Cooperation stakeholders, and continuously improve the accuracy and timeliness of the information reported.
* Brief senior Army leadership to provide the latest status of operations support and issues/concern as well as the statuses of equities for support of senior initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
* Must have a current Top Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum five (5) years of operational experience in international affairs and/or national security policy
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Must have knowledge of Army Security Assistance and Security Cooperation programs
* Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, high visibility environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Army Brigade or Higher staff experience
* At least 10 years Security Cooperation and/or Security Assistance experience preferred
* The requirement of a bachelor's degree may be waived if the individual has had at least ten (10) years of applied Security Assistance experience while serving as a uniformed member of the armed services or a U.S. government employee
