Job Summary: The People and Culture Generalist supports the daily functions of the People and Culture department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role is integral in fostering a positive, inclusive, and dynamic culture aligned with the values of The Springs Resort and Spa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding processes.
- Help build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, and professional networks to support talent acquisition efforts.
- Contribute to implementing strategies to attract and maintain a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Training and Development
- Support the development and delivery of training programs to help associates enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and assist with implementing tailored development plans.
- Help promote a culture of continuous learning through workshops, mentorship opportunities, and online learning platforms.
- Project Support
- Assist in coordinating People and Culture-related projects, such as associate engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and policy updates.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of departmental initiatives.
- Track project progress and provide status updates to the People and Culture team and leadership.
- Associate Relations and Support
- Act as a helpful resource for associates, addressing questions and assisting with workplace concerns.
- Support the resolution of associate relations issues by facilitating communication and maintaining fairness.
- Help ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws by supporting departmental processes.
- Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate associate records and assist with managing People and Culture systems.
- Help prepare reports on departmental metrics to support decision-making and strategy.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws is a plus.
