Your RoleThe People & Engagement Technology team is a critical member of the People & Engagement - P&E (Human Resources) organization and is responsible for providing technical and functional leadership for multiple products in the HR Technology portfolio. It provides product and system solutions to support digital transformation, automation, application security, regulatory compliance, and end-user support. The People and Engagement Technology, Consultant will report to the Sr Manager, People and Engagement Technology. In this role, you will be a lead in business process, systems, and technology planning and delivery for HR. You will consult with business leaders on process definition, improvement, systems, performance and best practices and facilitate and lead requirements gathering and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery implementation projects.Your WorkIn this role, you will:Lead the end-to-end solution architecture of complex HR Service Delivery (HRSD) ServiceNow implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business goalsCo-lead the HR Service Delivery roadmap, by diving deep into the People org needs, as well as business challenges and understanding how to HRSD tooling can be helpfulCollaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture designsBuild dashboards and reports for HR Service Delivery in ServiceNowReport on and manage data within the ServiceNow platform including imports and exports, ensuring data integrity and securityUtilize ServiceNow scripting modules such as Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Business Rules to develop, customize, manage forms and fieldsServe as the technical expert for HRSD ServiceNow design and support issuesEnsure all HRSD ServiceNow applications and services are current, reliable, tuned, and accessible in accordance with service level agreementsDesign and implement robust HRSD platform enhancements to improve functionality and the overall end-user experienceCreate and modify knowledge base articles to enhance user support and documentationResolve HRSD issues promptlyYour Knowledge and ExperienceRequires a college degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 7 years prior relevant experienceRequires 3+ years of HR Technology development, configuration, and optimizing experience including HR Service DeskServiceNow HR Service Delivery strongly preferredRequires understanding of Human Resources functions and business processesExperience leading large, enterprise-wide products and system implementations preferredAbility to apply Agile methodologyExcellent verbal / written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skillsProficiency in ServiceNow scripting modules like Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, etc.Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON is preferredExperience developing and maintaining queries against Microsoft SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL, to prepare reporting statistics (KPIs) and status reportsServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) highly preferredHRSD ServiceNow Certified System Implementation Specialist is preferredPay Range:The pay range for this role is: $109120.00 to $163680.00 for California.Note:Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade.
