Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of new employees. Coordinate general orientation for new personnel with department managers to ensure a positive employee experience. Oversee employee performance evaluations, working with department heads to ensure timely evaluations. Initiate and participate in employee retention programs to maintain a positive workplace environment. Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of new employees. Assist Executive Director/and or department managers with team member grievances and/or investigations and counseling as needed. Coordinate with management team annual attendance records and oversee leaves of absence as necessary Maintain mandatory postings and ensure compliance with labor regulations. Ensure Relias training compliance and maintain training records for all staff to meet state regulations Coordinate the approval of timesheets and manage communication with the centralized payroll team. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field Minimum of four years of experience in Human Resources, preference for prior employee relations work experience. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organization skills are required Knowledge of state and federal requirements and regulations Candidate should have a very good working knowledge of FMLA and ADA - as well as familiarity with EEOC, CRA, HIPAA and FLSA Current SPHR/PHR certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
