Responsibilities:
* Review and process requests for new personnel, ensuring all employee files comply with regulatory standards.
* Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of new employees.
* Coordinate general orientation for new personnel with department managers to ensure a positive employee experience.
* Oversee employee performance evaluations, working with department heads to ensure timely evaluations.
* Initiate and participate in employee retention programs to maintain a positive workplace environment.
* Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of new employees.
* Assist Executive Director/and or department managers with team member grievances and/or investigations and counseling as needed.
* Coordinate with management team annual attendance records and oversee leaves of absence as necessary
* Maintain mandatory postings and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
* Ensure Relias training compliance and maintain training records for all staff to meet state regulations
* Coordinate the approval of timesheets and manage communication with the centralized payroll team.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
* Minimum of four years of experience in Human Resources, preference for prior employee relations work experience.
* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organization skills are required
* Knowledge of state and federal requirements and regulations
* Candidate should have a very good working knowledge of FMLA and ADA - as well as familiarity with EEOC, CRA, HIPAA and FLSA
* Current SPHR/PHR certification preferred
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually
