About the Position

Our People Operations Coordinator plays a crucial part in empowering and supporting our one-of-a-kind culture and high-energy team. Our team does an excellent job of maintaining and adding to our culture, and it's our job to support them, motivate them, and make sure they have everything they need to be successful and grow.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door with People Operations as previous People Ops experience is not required. However, you'll need to be highly organized and on top of the coordination that goes into supporting our people!

This position will be regular full-time hours M-F and based out of Denver. You'll report to the Head of People and be a part of our Operations team consisting of People Ops, Finance, & Ops.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Own the coordination and progression of the full recruitment lifecycle, from budget approval to job posting to offer acceptance
  • Manage all candidate and internal communications with the hiring team, including scheduling multi-step interviews
  • Assist with process documentation and maintain hiring metrics

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Execute the administrative side of the new hire onboarding process, including account and equipment setup
  • Help with new hire compliance requirements and serve as the first point of contact for new employee support, ensuring that the new team member has an excellent first impression of Spectora
  • Track and maintain our employee equipment inventory, including ongoing equipment needs from employees

Employee Enablement

  • Respond quickly to various needs that come up from our team, building trust by providing prompt solutions and handling communication with care
  • Track and report on key People Ops metrics, such as headcount and retention
  • Maintain the accuracy of employee records in multiple locations, primarily in our payroll & benefits software, Gusto.
  • Oversee and execute HR compliance tasks and the organization of People Ops documents, materials, and resources
  • Maintain team and PTO calendar, sending follow ups to managers and employees as necessary
  • Manage payroll processing and reimbursements in Gusto and ensure a smooth execution of payroll twice per month
  • Coordinate shipping for events & employee programs and book all employee travel to visit the Denver office or attend special events

Culture Support

  • Model and reinforce Spectora's culture, championing our values & setting the standard for our culture in all interactions
  • Coordinate employee events and programs, including team building events and employee recognition
  • Maintain employee engagement initiatives and surveys
  • Oversee office operations, maintenance, perks, and supply orders

REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Experience: Previous People Ops experience is not required, but strong administrative and coordination skills are essential
  • People Person: A genuine passion for creating exceptional experiences for our team. You're also able to handle sensitive information and complex situations with confidentiality, empathy and care
  • Software Savvy: You're able to quickly learn new systems, know your way around Google products, enter data efficiently, and can help improve our current setup

Job Type: Full-Time

Base Salary: $50,000-60,000 per year

This is a hybrid position based out of Denver, CO. Wednesdays are spent in-office and other days are typically remote, but additional time in office may be required due to the office management components of your role.
