Job Duties:
This position will function as PeopleSoft Developer responsible for:
- Delivering reliable, accurate and efficient solutions for the new development
- Writing formal technical documentation
- Developing and Unit Testing PeopleSoft programs/routines
- Break fix of program/routines
- Reporting work status to Supervisor on a regular basis, and responding quickly to management questions and concerns
- Analyzing and develop the System (PeopleSoft and other Oracle products) using tools available (e.g., PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, Unix Scripting, Phire Architect or Stat)
Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the following areas:
- Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft applications using the following toolsets: PeopleSoft COBOL (required), Application Engine, Application Packages, Component Interface, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Messaging, and XML
- Demonstrated experience implementing or maintaining applications using Oracle Database 10g or higher
- Thorough understanding of PeopleTools 8.56
- Demonstrated experience in an IT application development environment supporting a public pension system
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience working and collaborating with others on solutions to develop effective and efficient solutions
