Job Summary:Under general direction, this position will focus on the development, implementation, and support of our Peoplesoft platform. The incumbent is also responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and creating technical documentation for the work that they are developing. You will work with our internal business partners to ensure that Peoplesoft development meets business requirements.Essential Functions:Design and develop custom extensions, processes, and queries in Peoplesoft to meet the needs.Maintain and support existing system functionality.Lead requirements gathering and design meetings, implementation and review meetings, and other project team meetings.Act as a functional expert for team members.Create documentation of functional and technical requirements.Monitor, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues; recommend and implement preventative measures to avoid future problems.Ensure the development produced by the team is efficient, robust, configurable, and flexible for future needs.Ensure adherence to project schedules, providing timely responses and resolution.Collaborate with security to ensure a compliant environment.Ensure development is tested thoroughly before submission to Quality Assurance.Maintain a strong focus on business priorities and customer service by being responsive to business requests and developing / maintaining productive working relationships with employees throughout the organization.Contribute ideas and opinions to the engagement and practice teams and proactively listens to and seeks out team members' ideas and views.Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or other IT-related degree5+ years of experience in Peoplesoft development, with at least two years in version 8.9 or prior.5+ years of experience designing processes, solutions, and enhancementsProficiency with Peoplesoft databases, PLSQL, App Engine, Oracle Packages, SQRPeoplesoft AR and Billing functional knowledge and experienceProficiency in API integration development and tools such as Integration Broker preferredStrong knowledge of relational database design principlesBasic knowledge of project planning and project managementStrong interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflicting demands and problemsGreat written and verbal communication skillsAbility to provide analysis on complex problems and present findings in a cohesive and easy to understand manner.Ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with business and technical stakeholders.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance and training to junior web development and design staff#LI-BS1#M1System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
