Position SummaryThe Performance Improvement Analyst II implements process improvement opportunities across the organization using Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies. This individual will participate in efforts to assess and drive opportunities to achieve productivity gains, realize cost reductions, risks mitigated, and improve customer and associate experience. The Performance Improvement Analyst II will draw upon their analytical expertise to help us discover key insights hidden in vast amounts of data and help us make more intelligent decisions to deliver even better products for Simmons customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supports the execution of performance improvement opportunities utilizing continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies.
- Maximizes operational efficiencies and leverages technology to its fullest extent.
- Participates in cross-functional improvement teams following the DMAIC roadmap, Lean A3, and/or a combination of any other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Leads development of value stream mapping and process engineering.
- Assist in developing key performance metrics and assist business units in establishing efficient ways to track data in a meaningful way.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Provides user support, including researching issues, determining options for resolution.

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations.

- Ability to effectively speak, respond to questions, and present information to the following: one-on-one /small groups, customers, employees, clients, managers, top management, public groups, board of directors, and the general public.

- Ability to query databases to prepare reports/dashboards to empower business units to make data-driven decisions.
- Understanding of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, etc...
- Adaptable and agile, can conform to shifting priorities and demands as the organizational landscape changes.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex reports and regulatory documents.
- Education and/or Experience
- BS/BA Degree (four year) from an accredited university/college AND
- Two plus years of experience in performance improvement, process engineering, data analytics, or similar role.
- Preferred Qualifications
- LEAN/Six Sigma Certification
- Prior banking experience
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
