Job Description:

The Perioperative Clinical Coordinator / OR Tech assists the physician during surgical procedures by performing scrubbing duties. Works as a team member to contribute to the overall efficiency of the Same Day Surgery Department. Ensures instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies are available for cases as needed in the OR. Provides support to physicians, staff, and leadership for departmental operational workflow. Participates in the budget process and works to maintain financial strength.

Required Experience

Required:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Completion of Operating Room Technician program
  • Valid and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to apply the above knowledge to pediatric and adult patients
  • Minimum 2 years perioperative work experience for Perioperative Clinical Coordinator Role

Preferred:

  • Certified Surgical Technician
  • Associate Degree in Business for Perioperative Clinical Coordinator Role
