Occupational Therapist assumes responsibility for the ethical and cost effective management, delivery, documentation, outcomes and communication of patient care within the scope of practice of their respective disciplines. This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition and establishes a plan of care as appropriate. Provides therapeutic interventions appropriate to the age and disability of the patient. Provides timely documentation of delivery of occupational therapy services provided to patients. - Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the OK State Board of Medical Examiners, or a graduate OT eligible for OK licensure, or OT student in the final semester of graduate school. Must obtain licensure prior to assuming patient care. - Required
