HousingPlus (HP) is seeking to hire a dynamic and passionate Program Supervisor who can implement and monitor the service delivery and overall success of our scattered site permanent supportive housing programs. The Program Supervisor should have experience working with families and/or individuals with serious mental illness, substance abuse, and criminal justice involvement. Working closely with the Program Director, the Program Supervisor is responsible for day to day oversight and coordination of program services and activities and supervision of staff. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day operations of the program.
- Ensure compliance with HP and funder regulations and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with Program Director to maintain an occupancy rate of 90% or above for all housing programs by monitoring program vacancies, conducting participant recruitment activities, eligibility interviews and permanent placement follow up with HP Property Manager as required.
- Work with the Program Director and HR Manager on recruitment, hiring and onboarding of staff.
- Work with the Program Director to develop program manuals and policies and procedures according to requirements set forth by the funder and HousingPlus.
- Conduct continuous needs assessment of program and participants needs.
- Plan and coordinate the delivery of services to achieve program, organization and individual's goals and outcomes.
- In the absence of case managers conduct intakes and assessments and provide case management and support services as needed.
- Provide supervision, support and guidance to direct reports.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions with direct reports, including but not limited to, providing performance feedback and addressing employee performance issues.
- Review and approve timesheets, vacation request and other supervisory functions.
- Conduct team meetings with direct reports.
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when appropriate and as needed.
- Plan and coordinate the delivery of services to achieve contractual, organization, program, and participant outcomes.
- Complete and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and updates as required.
- Conduct quality assurance activities of AWARDS data and tenant chart maintenance to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements and HousingPlus standards for data entry, development of quarterly service plans, and annual HMIS uploads.
- Schedule, organize and attend staff, departmental meetings and other meetings as needed.
- Work with Program Directors and other HP staff to coordinate and/or facilitate participant activities and events.
- Work with property management to ensure apartments meet standards for apartment maintenance and annual inspections.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with property management, community service providers, police precincts, fire department, PA offices, etc.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social work or related field, a minimum of three years supervisory experience working in a supportive housing or social services setting; or BA or B.S.W. in Health and/or Social Services and a minimum of five (5) years of solid experience in the human services sector in a supervisory role with responsibilities for managing service delivery and staff.
- Possess experience working with families with histories of homelessness, serious mental illness, substance abuse, and criminal justice involvement.
- Possess excellent writing and documentation skills.
- Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively establish and maintain meaningful relationships.
- Ability to coordinate services to meet the on-going needs of individuals served.

- Works well with a team.
- Demonstrates ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and electronic case management database.
- Experience with AWARDS (Foothold Technology) strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Applicant background check required.
- Evening and weekend availability (rotating schedule) for emergency on call.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus, but not required.
- Other related duties as assigned.

- Salary Range - 68,000-72,000
