Description Overview
Business partner to the CSCA Perrigo Direct leadership team. Provides leadership with consultation advice on the financial implications and the risk of business activities, and recommendations on mitigation options.
Scope of the Role
* Develop and implement the financial strategy to support the company's overall business objectives.
* Monitor the performance of each category and customer, critically analyzing gaps to plan.
* Lead the long term and annual budgeting process including preparing integrated business planning and monitoring financial performance.
* Support sales and marketing in leading customer RFP's and overall pricing strategy
* Through accurate forecast of performance, identify potential gaps in a timely manner and drive early actions to close.
* Provide leadership with financial advice and strategic direction on business initiatives that drive the achievement of short and long range plan targets.
* Bring intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo and legacy practices to enable Perrigo Direct to best allocate resources to the initiatives that drive the greatest value
* Implement and maintain effective financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations, statutory regulations and corporate policies.
* Manages and motivates staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department.
Experience Required
* Typically seven plus years of increasingly responsible experience in a large corporate environment; with a proven track record in overcoming business challenges.
* Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or recognized accounting qualification.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
* Excellent interpersonal / relationship-building capabilities with the ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence solutions at a senior level.
* Proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues; a drive for continuous professional development in self and others.
* Excellent presentation preparation and delivery skills with an attention to detail and ability to tell the story .
